Married Couples and Finances

What can I say about Pathways?? There are no words that can describe the level of appreciation I have for this ministry!! Once we submitted ourselves to the Pathways “process”, I have seen nothing but increase in my finances! In three months, our family debt has been significantly reduced, our savings has nearly tripled, and we have been on two vacations!! We have submitted ourselves to this ministry because it is anointed…we know this because the fruit is there. My wife and I are constantly growing in our level of agreement. We have two-way conversation with respect to money that did not happen before. It is AWESOME! Trust God…and trust the Pathways’ system. Elders Derrick and Zee, we love you and appreciate you!

The name Pathway$ is truly fitting for this ministry. When we were unable to see a way out of the financial chaos that we had created and tolerated in our lives, Pathway$ provided a way out. Prior to Pathway$ we “knew” a lot but did not “do” much of what we knew concerning money. Pathway$ showed us that it is not about what we know but what we diligently and consistently do. Within a month of being connected with Pathway$ we began to see results that were real and tangible. We have seen debts paid off, promotion, favor, and increase. As we continue on the path, we continue to see the goodness of God unfold in our lives. It just keeps getting better and better.

Over a year ago, when Brian and I submitted to financial discipleship, I had no idea God was going to call me to start my own practice. In doing so, I decided to resign from my permanent job to concentrate on starting my practice. This resulted in a 70% reduction in income. This made us all nervous. When we met with Elder Raines to go over our bills for the month, we discovered that we had credits for many of our bills. All of this because we have submitted to God’s wisdom through the guidance of Elders Derrick and Zee. At this same time, we found out that someone had just sown a seed of major proportion into our lives concerning another matter. On that very same day, my father called me in an effort to restore our relationship. Im convinced now more than ever, that being fully submitted to God and allowing Him to restore order to our life is the only way to see His true Goodness and Favor upon us. We thank you, Elders Raines, again for your committment to our success.We love you!!

Being in pathways as a couple has helped us in so many ways. One way in particular that pathways has helped is causing us to developed a “we are a team” mindset. Recently , this mindset was tested when we went from two too one income. Initially , we were very concerned but as we continued to apply what we have learned, we are doing great and had the opportunity to go on a vacation to new york , without fear of monetary concern. We now realize that like in the movie “The Karate Kid “, Pathways has prepaired us for the battle and we a couple will continue to win!

Pathways has been a blessing to my family and I. Words can’t explain how thankful we are. Since committing to Pathways our debt has decreased, our savings has grown, we see a difference in our credit scores and are bills are paid on time. Thank you Elders Derrick & Zee for taking the time out to help us with our finances. You guys are amazing!!!

Pathway$ has changed the way we think about finances (from taking on debt, paying bills, saving money, spending, to enjoying the fruit of our labor). What we were doing before was not working, so we submitted ourselves to Pathway$ and we have seen a difference!

In this one year alone, we have been able to save more than we have in 7 years of marriage. We have been on a family vacation. We have a generational wealth plan (a Will and Trust). We have legal documents in place in the event of an unfortunate circumstance.

We are thankful for Pathway$ and look forward to going further in our finances!

The key to successful finances in marriage is a willingness to deny Financial Infidelity for creeping into your marriage. Spouses should know all things that pertain to marital finances….Don’t allow one hint on separation to come in there.

I am currently unemployed. However, I do work PRN. I do recieve unemployment compensation. I’m in the process of seeking employment. In the meantime, I am doing my best with what I got. Really interested in being discipled.
