As we look ahead to our 6th Year Anniversary and the VisionMax Conference in December, I wanted you to know we will be having guest speakers and it is important that we have a full crew for both of these events. We will not only be serving our church, our Pastors, and our Special Guests, but the Body of Christ.

Since VisionMax will be a SimulConference this year we REALLY need to make sure that we bring our “AAA” game.  I have spoken with some of the ministries that will be joining us via SimulConference and they are extending their faith and expectation for what God is going to do during this time.  It is our privilage, and responsibility to deliver the best experience possible to the attendees at these events whether it be in our sanctuary or via SimulConference.  The list of churches that will be hosting this event grows everyday.

Finally, don’t forget to sign up for the Salvation Army Kettle Drive, our team day is coming soon. It’s a great opportunity to sow seed into our community and touch peoples lives in ways we may not have available on an every day basis.  The sign-up sheet is posted in the control room. We are asking you to serve a two-hour shift, but if one hour is what is best for your schedule, then that’s appreciated as well.

We are blessed to have the most awesome team in the ministry and appreciate all of your hard work, time and support of the ministry. God is the rewarder of your efforts.  Set your expectation for the reward that you can expect from God.

Good day to you all. 

There will be another Leadership and Impartation meeting taking place tomorrow at 8:00 AM. We will need a full crew. Dress is all black. Call time is 7:30 AM so that we are aware of who we have available and how to staff each position. Please don’t be late. 

Again, we do need a full crew for this event so all available hands would be appreciated.

During the months of November and December, THE CHURCH of Jacksonville will be serving the Salvation Army by providing volunteers for the kettle at the Publix on San Jose at Mandarin Road.  

The Media Department will be participating by adopting a day to serve during the drive.

We will be serving on Saturday November 22nd.  We will be responsible for providing someone to “Ring the Bell” for the entire day.  We will be working in 2 hour shifts.  It would be great if there were two people for each hour.  This could be you and your spouse, or perhaps a couple of people could get together to cover a few hours.  This is an excellent way to serve our community and a great organization at the same time.

There will be a sign up sheet in the Control Room so that you can pick a time to “Ring the Bell”.  This will be a great way to share the love of God with those that we come in contact with and do our part to help our ministry make an impact during this fund raising campaign.

Just a reminder, SOMET III resumes tomorrow at 8:00 AM. For those of you who are serving, please arrive at 7:30. SOMET students, come prepared to soak in the things God’s placed on Pastor Mike’s heart to impart into your lives. Whether your place is behind the scenes or in the student body, your position is one that carries weight and is making an impact.

We will be doing a special all day taping on Saturday September 27th from 9 AM  - 4 PM.  This is a taping that is open to all Leaders, SOMET students and alumni, business owners, members and guests that might be interested in learning about tried and proven systems that can be used to increase their ability to produce excellence in the work place and ministry.

Lunch will be provided at no cost.  If you know anyone that might want to attend they can sign up in the East Atrium or by calling the church.  Registration is required, you must be 16 years or older to attend and the dress is business casual for attendees.

Our call time for this event will be 8:15 AM.  We will need a full crew for this taping.  Since it is such a long day, I would like to be able to have people to give relief throughout the day.  Please email me and let me know if you can work a half day or a whole day.  This is another great opportunity to serve not only our church body that will be present for the session, but the Body of Christ at large as this teaching is distributed throughout the world.

Also, there was some confusion on Sunday about if you should sign up in the East Atrium or not.  If you are planning on serving, please let me know and I will turn in a count for lunch for the department.  If you are planning on attending and not serving please sign up in the East Atrium.
